Britney Spears’ Son Gave An Interview Criticizing Britney, And Her Response Is

As we all know, Britney was in a reportedly “abusive” conservatorship run by Britney’s father, Jamie, where she’d had little to no freedom. The conservatorship was terminated in 2021.
Well, Jayden shared his thoughts on said conservatorship. “I think at first, [Jamie] was just trying to be like any father. I did think maybe the conservatorship maybe did go for too long,” he said.
“That’s probably why my mom was very angry about the whole situation because she felt as if she’s working for too long. Which I personally think, yeah, she was.”
He also said living at home with his father, Kevin Federline, is his “safe place to process the emotional trauma” they’ve been through.
But Jayden had less than positive words to say about Britney’s online presence.
“It’s almost as if she has to post something on Instagram to get attention,” he said. “This has gone on for years and years and years. There’s a high chance this is never really gonna stop.”
When asked for a message for his mother, Jayden said, “I love you a lot. I hope for the best for you. Maybe one day we can sit down like this and talk again.”
In a now-deleted clip posted to her Instagram, Britney responded to Jayden’s comments. “Jayden, as you undermine my behavior just like my whole family always has with, ‘I hope she gets better, I will pray for her,'” she said. “Pray for what? I keep working so I can pay off mom’s legal fees and her house? Do you guys want me to continue to get better so I can continue giving your dad 40 grand a month?”
“Or is the reason you guys have decided to be hateful is that it’s actually over in two years and you don’t get anything?” she asked.
“I will say it. I sat in that kitchen and looked you straight in the eyes, beautiful boy, and said, ‘How come I can’t see you guys anymore — or just see you guys more?’ I look forward to seeing you guys weekly. You said, ‘Mama, oh, it’ll change.'”
“You and your brother left me in that house always two hours early,” Britney continued. “Preston would sleep, you would play the piano the whole time, and if I didn’t shower you guys with gifts and have amazing food ready and play a motherfucking saint, it was still never good enough.”
Britney said she never did anything wrong and resents the condescension of treating her like she has something wrong with her. “Jayden, it was a miracle I could even have a normal conversation when I got out of that place,” Britney said. “You secretly loved looking at me as if something was wrong with me.”
“I didn’t need a family hiding shit in houses and whispering shit behind my back — feeling subconsciously guilty because I paid for every fucking thing in both homes. I needed unconditional love and support,” she said. “But guess what — I was [in] the greatest state I’d ever been because I was able to speak up 100% and say no.”
On a positive note, Jayden did say that he thinks it’ll take “time and effort” to “repair their relationship.” Hopefully, that reconciliation and repair is in the near future.
